Asterisk Password Decryptor is a powerful tool to recover lost or forgotten passwords. It allows you to reveal the hidden passwords on password dialog boxes and web pages that are hidden by the row of asterisks (*****). Change the name of the software - Decryptor gives the impression that you can decrypt passwords. The software is more like a password recovery software not a decryptor

I don't like the fact that once installed the software phones home to the developers site. Place this in the toolbar or help section so that users can choose to go to the developers site.

Improve the GUI. or at least give the user the ability to change the look of the GUI via a GUI editor - this could be expanded so that users could upload them to the developers site for sharing.

Don't make it portable

I wouldn't want someone to put in a pen drive and then go on my browser and see my saved passwords, then use them on their pc to log on to a site as me!

Make This SYSTEM wide or at least add Firefox which has almost twice the users than IE

as far as browsers go I use password protected password managers. The problem with a browser only asteric Revieler is for one firefox has multiple free plugins that do the same. I can simply install an extension that allows me to just hover over...

See it work without crashing everytime. Try to access the auto update option and the Password Decryptor crashes. Drag the magnifier over IE and IE crashes. Rubbish, binned it.

Be able to decrypt IIS passwords for Iusr accounts ETC..

The tool would be golden if it could decrypt IIS passwords on a windows 2003 server.

Make this Program Password Protected so someone can not sit at your machine and simply open your program and steal all the password they can
